On Friday evening, April 16, from 7:00 p.m to 8:00 p.m. CASA will present entertainment that will please an
audience of all ages. This event will be held in the James A. Little Theater on the campus of New Mexico School
for the Deaf.

Linsay Darnall, Jr.
Linsay Darnall, Jr. began his acting experience on the stage of Nebraska School for the Deaf (NSD) when
he was 5 years old. He won best actor awards for an unprecedented three years during his high school
years at NSD. He also directed annual spring plays at his alma mater. Linsay Jr. has performed in a variety
of places including Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C. where he won the “Outstanding Use of ASL Award”
in 1992. Linsay Jr. performed and directed several plays at Dinner Theater in Omaha. He was also a performing
director of the S.T.A.R. Drama Club, an after-school program for deaf children in Omaha for three seasons.
Linsay Jr. was an actor with the Mother Hicks Project at Omaha’s Rose Theater in the winter of 2005. He also
teaches drama classes at the Rose Theater. He appeared on video productions with the ASL Bible translations -
Deaf Missions, Boys Town National Research Hospital’s “Read with Me” series, Gallaudet University’s
“Audism Unveiled”, and the upcoming Dawn Sign Press’ “Deaf Folklore” and “ABC Stories” DVDs. Linsay Jr. has
put his skilled use of ASL and extensive knowledge in how language works to good use. He has been an
interpreter mentor and led many workshops and training for interpreters across the state of Nebraska. An
undying advocate of Deaf people, he has served on various boards since 1988, including the National Association
of the Deaf (NAD). Linsay Jr. is owner and manager of the Darnall Consulting, LLC and lives in both Polk and
Omaha, Nebraska.
