Sign Language Classes in Santa Fe and Albuquerque are provided in order to increase access to communication for children who are deaf or hard of hearing. Classes are targeted towards 1) Parents, grandparents, siblings, other family members 2) school personnel and other educational stakeholders working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing. Classes are interactive, challenging and fun. Instructors work hard to make learning ASL an enjoyable and beneficial experience. Ten week sessions are offered each fall and spring semesters, meeting once per week for two hours.

Statewide In Person & Online ASL Classes
ASL classes are offered in ten-week sessions each fall and spring, meeting for two hours each week.
ASL
classes are offered online and in person on NMSD's Santa Fe and Albuquerque campuses, from January 23 through April 13, 2023.
Registration for Spring 2023 ASL Classes begins November 28. The deadline to register is January 8.
