Family to Family Events are packed with family-relevant workshops and ASL learning activities for children and family members. Families of deaf and hard of hearing children mingle and learn in an informal environment, learning fromenergetic instructors. Workshop topics are chosen to address family-specific communication. While adults attend workshops, deaf and hearing children have a chance to play and learn together in a comfortable environment. Families also benefit from sharing their own stories with each other!
Family Workshops are offered statewide to support families of deaf and hard of hearing children. These workshops provide information and support to families related to language and communication, family dynamics, maximizing a child’s learning potential, educational programming and considerations for the future.
