Professional development workshops are offered statewide upon request. These learning opportunities can be scheduled for groups large and small, with an emphasis on an individual student or at a school/district level. Workshops focus on a wide range of topics specific to the education of students who are deaf and hard of hearing such as IEP requirements/Communication Considerations Addendum, literacy, understanding hearing levels/amplification and the interpreted environment. The workshops are geared towards educators, parents, family members, interpreters, classroom assistants, and other service providers who make up the educational team.
