NMSD believes extracurricular activities are an integral part of the school's educational program, providing real-life experiences to help young people to grow, while promoting leadership, social skills, and communication.
Students have the unique opportunity to participate in student organizations and extracurricular activities with direct communication with their sponsors and their peers.
These activities and organizations seek to instill the basic tenets of success – Hard work, commitment, sacrifice, preparedness, and doing the best that one can every day. Additional benefits to students come in the form of self-esteem, self-discipline and the desire to excel.
Currently we provide the following organizations and extracurricular activities (subject to availability of students and scheduling options):
ArtSign
Children of Color Organization
Junior/Senior Class Activities
Spring Play
Student Body Government (for all students)
Our Student Development Facilitator is responsible for all organizations. Please contact the Dillon Hall main office at 505-476-6379 with any questions regarding organizations or extracurricular activities other than Athletics.
