Top academic and athletic accomplishments:

  1. Class speaker Sophia Martinez was accepted to Gallaudet University in Washington, D.C., and received several scholarships, including the Rotary Club Dr. Kenneth Brasel Memorial Scholarship and the Bandy Scholarship.
  2. Bruce Brewer Jr. was named USA Deaf Basketball Youth Program’s “National Player of the Year” and was a Silver Medal Winner of the USA Deaf Basketball Deaflympics 2022 in Brazil. His other accomplishments include: NDIAA Division II Boys BB All-Americans 2019-20, 2021-22, Second All-State Team Basketball 2021-22., NDIAA Division II 6- Man Football All-Americans 2021-22, District 7A 2021-22 Basketball All-District First Team and player of the year.
