ABQ ECE Program hosted their first Family Day of the year. We were so excited to create our image of the child with families (children are capable, intelligent, silly, curious and so much more). We also shared in some fun activities with children in the classroom. Thanks to all that joined us today.

NTID Regional STEM Center at Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind provided a 3-day training on Middle School VEX IQ Robotics to NMSD, Rocky Mountain Deaf School, and Phoenix Bakersfield School District. Our teachers, Sherry and Carrie, will head up NMSD's team this year and they will participate in a VEX IQ Robotics competition at the Tennessee School for the Deaf in January 2024. How cool!!

Last night Student Life had a great time creating their own “homemade” Mini-Zozobra event! There was a BBQ, lots of games, and a Zozobra pinata before the main event. Students & families had a blast with fireworks burning up Old Man Doom and their gloom! #NMSDTrue #NMSDStudentLife
